Nose to nose

The sunset provided a nice backdrop for some silhouette shots of the couple this past weekend.

Sunset Photography

The sunset was amazing this evening. My daughter and I went for a bit of a drive to capture it as it fell over Lake Orion. Here are a few of the shots we took while watching it. Sunsets are great to capture, but I prefer the silhouette shots.

Adding a bit of a strobe makes my girl look like she's floating and looks like she's photo shopped in front of this sunset.

Silhouette Toast

Silhouette Toast

Tonight I was a second shooter at a wedding and it was the most amazing experience. Wedding photography is fun, rewarding, and a whole lot of hard work. Stay tuned for shots from this amazing wedding. Here is my favorite not-so-typical wedding shots from the wedding. It's a silhouette of the two bridesmaids during the toast to the bride and groom.

Here's another silhouette shot from yesterday's photo shoot. The girls had to jump several times to get this shot, and they did splendidly.

Silhouette Supermodels

These supermodels were gracious enough to pose for this silhouette as the sun was setting. Ok, supermodels is a bit of a stretch, but they were happy to pose anyway.

Silhouette Profile

Silhouette Profile

A baseball cap looks great on a beautiful woman, and this profile shot really made me stop and stare at the computer screen. Silhouette's have a wonderful artistic effect of leading the imagination. I loved the lines of the blinds in the background of this shot and the framing of the profile as well.
