This was an exercise in capturing movement. I tried to time it so that the train was between cars so that you could see the movement in the shot.

A man and his bride out for an evening stroll
This is not terribly in focus because my dog was pulling on the leash at the time of this shot, but not every shot needs to be in focus in order to tell the story. I think there's a neat story here, and I liked how I was able to compose this shot.

Broken Achilles
My bride broke her achilles a couple days ago. This was one way that she found to keep her foot elevated.

Daddy Daughter Dance
There are many aspects to capturing the wedding day that I truely enjoy, and one of my favorite moments is the Daddy Daughter dance. I take pictures that I would want to have, and this is a shot that I want to have when my daughter gets married. I used to dance with my daughter when she was a baby and imagine what it would be like on her wedding day. No matter how many weddings I shoot, this part of the day seems to bring a tear to my eye and a smile to my face. This shot made me smile tonight.

Capturing Genuine Smiles
You can't fake this kind of genuine smile and it makes me smile when I am able to capture it. This is a simple shot from yesterday's wedding that I really enjoyed.

Just In Shades
Justin was kind enough to pose for this portrait yesterday. Notice my daughter in the reflection of the glasses. Somehow you can't see me in the reflection.
