Builder of the snow woman

Snowman Builder
Builder of the snow woman

Here's a portrait of the architect of this snowwoman. The pink scarf was a great touch to this pint sized ball of snow and ice.

Sunset Portrait

Hair Light
Sunset Portrait

Another photo of my favorite model/actress. The sun was setting at the time giving off such a wonderful warm light that this portrait had to be taken.

I did a lot of work with my portrait lens this weekend and I tried to get over my fear of ISO 400.
This allowed me to increase the shutter speed enough to make me love this lens again.

Camera: Nikon D80
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/640)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 210 mm
ISO Speed: 500

Actress Portrait

Actress After audition
Actress Portrait

I caught this snapshot of an actress as she was coming out of an audition for a horror movie. I hope she gets the part. Thanks for permission to post this shot today. I should have used a fill flash to lighten up her face a bit. How could I have improved this shot? Your comments are welcome.
