On my way to hair and makeup I captured this photo. It's a location that I took the bride and groom on their engagement session so I thought it was a fitting capture to start the day.

I took this photo just one week ago, so it fits my blog rules of taken within the week. I took this at about 7am while on a drive and it was one of those moments where I had to stop the car and get out the trusty Nikon D80. The sun was hitting the dock with some really warm light and the morning fog was just hovering over the pond.

The only good part about waking up early is the sunrise (with some exception for coffee and eggs.) This morning's sunrise was a delight. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. A little bit of post processing was dun to bring out the richness of the sun's color using Paint.Net. Taken with a Canon Powershot SD750.
