Long Lake Sunrise
Another sunrise photo from yesterday. This photo was taken moments before the other one. Notice how the sky was a completely different shade of orange and the blue is nowhere to be seen. I was so happy I had my camera with me on this morning.

Sunrise over Long Lake in Lake Orion
In case you missed it, the sunrise over the city of Lake Orion was amazing this morning. Here's a photo I took from the deck of Buffalo Wild Wings.

Marathon Cups
This past weekend our daughter had the opportunity to cheer on her team at the Detroit Marathon. They were running for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and were running in my daughter's honor. As I was helping with the water station I noticed the cups being discarded by the runners after the race and couldn't help but tell the story with my camera. It was a beautiful day for a race, but not so beautiful for the cleanup crew.

People Mover
Today I was downtown Detroit for the Free Press Marathon. The first thing I notice was the direction of the people mover. I have always known it to go in a counter clockwise direction, but today it was clockwise. Who knew?

Oakview vs Waldon Middle School Football
Can you believe in this next photo that the refs ruled this down by contact and the fumble (recovered by Oakview) was not allowed?

Playing till sunset
His uniform was very clean after today's game. Didn't get to play at all, and that made him sad. He works very hard all week yet get's little to no playing time. I bought him a steak for dinner as a consolation, and that brought a smile back to his face.

Grosse Isle Bridge iPhone Photo
I posted this image earlier but I had to re-post it with a bit of editing. In color it had it's own feeling of bliss with the sun setting and the calmness of the evening approaching. This photo desaturated seemed to bring a whole new emotion to the shot. This photo has been on my phone's wallpaper all day and I thought I would share this part of me today. The movement in the photo and the harshness of the shadows really tells a different story. It gives me a sense of tiredness and endlessness of driving into the night. Maybe I'm just sleepy from a long day. Hope you enjoy this edit as much as I do.

Lake Orion vs Troy Sneak Peek
I'm still editing the photos from the Lake Orion High School football game. For now, here's a shot of Phil Serzo doing what he does best.
