Today I did some location scouting for a wedding coming up in a couple weeks at the Paint Creek Country Club. This place is beautiful and I already saw about 30 shots that I want to capture at this wedding. Here's a snapshot that I captured with my new Kodak video camera. I loved the way the clouds were in the sky today and it really made the windows pop.
My dog Sparkie turns 11 years old today. In dog years that's kinda old, but she's one of my best friends. She's laying on the floor right next to me as I type this and it's comforting to know that she's there. Starting to show her age with the amount of time it takes her to get up the stairs. She has moments of spunkiness when we play catch, but she doesn't last as long as she used to. I call her Sparkie the wonder mutt, because that's what she is.
The dust in the air is actually from the road. The county doesn't seem to have the budget to spray down the road to keep the dust down this year. Makes for some great photos though.
This is a piece that I hope will go on my client's wall. When we took this shot I told them that it may not come out because the location that I had to shoot from was not ideal. When I reviewed this shot I was not entirely happy with it at first. Once I removed the color I started to like it more and more. I like how the bridge leads your eye to the couple standing there. What do you think?
