Cross Country Line

Line in the woods

I took this while watching the cross country runners race the other day. This is the line that they use to guide the runners through the course. I love how the fall colors look this time of year and think it adds to this shot.

Official

Touchtown
Official

Here's another shot from Friday night's game. I was lining up this shot with the official standing there (arms down) and I was prepared for it to me a mediocre shot. Then something happened on the game field and the official raised his hand adding better framing to the shot and making the image that much better.

The Roar at the Start

The roar at the start
The Roar at the Start

The most amazing roar is heard when the cross country race begins. Every runner roared in unison as they began their pouncing through the rain, water, and mud. Really cool moment to photograph.

I took some great photos of the junior varsity cross country meet this past weekend. My wife was kind enough to hold an umbrella over me and the camera in order to capture these moments. Email me if you would like a digital copy of your son. ed@edwardjohnphotography.com
