Irresistible Confection

I tried to resist this confection during last weeks wedding. I tried for a long time not to eat one, but I felt that I would insult the bride by not having a piece of her wedding cake. This is not your traditional wedding cake, and every bit as amazing as any that I have photographed. I just had to try one.

It WAS amazing. And I felt that I needed to run an extra mile to work it off, but way worth it.

iPhone Photo Friday - Rental Car Sign

This week's iPhone Friday post is a bit of a vanity photo, but I like the perspective in this shot. When I get off the plane, the last thing I want to do is wait in a line for a rental car representative to punch a bunch of keys on the keyboard and stare at a computer terminal. I want to walk up to my car and drive away. That's exactly what I get with Avis and it's glorious. I see my name on the board and it tells me where to find my car. It's that easy and makes all the difference in the world.

Inside the Opryland Hotel

This morning I took a photo walk inside the Opryland Hotel in Nashville Tennessee. There are three atriums in this building and each has it's share of waterfalls and vegetation. The constant sound of falling water fills each of these areas making it a very peaceful place.
