Cake blog post inspiration

This photo actually sparked the inspiration for a blog post that I will write on my other website. Thought I would share with you the origin of a blog post. Actually, most of my images here are the origin of another picture. That's the whole reason for this daily photo blog.

I love cake and I really liked how the light was shining on this particular show cake in the Poppy Seed deli in Lake Orion. The iPhone doesn't do it justice, but you get the idea.

Irresistible Confection

I tried to resist this confection during last weeks wedding. I tried for a long time not to eat one, but I felt that I would insult the bride by not having a piece of her wedding cake. This is not your traditional wedding cake, and every bit as amazing as any that I have photographed. I just had to try one.

It WAS amazing. And I felt that I needed to run an extra mile to work it off, but way worth it.

The happy couple were engaged in front of Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom. So naturally the cake topper had to be Micky and Minnie. This wedding was amazing and the bride and groom were obviously happy to be married.

I'm still processing the photos from this wedding, but I thought I'd give you a taste (Get it, cake, taste.....ok I'll work on my humor.) If you are a family member interested in some of the shots from this wedding, stay tuned for a link to download them.
