LA Flower Thingy

While on a photo walk here in LA, I took a photo of this flower thingy, but have no idea what kind it is. Any one have any insight into this tropical beauty, please leave a comment and let me know.

LA Photo Shoot

Here's an impromptu photo shoot for my first day in Los Angeles.

This girls a super model in the makeing.

The next few images were quite a challenge to get. This boy was interested in playing, but not interested in posing for any photographs. So a fast shutter and reverse psychology was required. I think the results are great.

Fair Catch or Not to Fair Catch

One last photo from last Friday's win against Eisenhower. The composition of this photo really strikes me. One would think that purposefully angling the camera would yield a horrible shot, but I think this adds to the affect of watching him aim for the ball as it approaches. What do you think?

This picture reminds me of one my my favorite comedian, Bob Nelson. His football routine is a classic and makes me laugh every time. My favorite line is when he introduces himself and says "I play football, on a football field, with a football." Here's a link in case you would like to watch.

I'll be out of town for a couple weeks in the lovely city of Los Angeles. Give me a ring if you want a portrait session on the beach. I intend to take quite a lot of photos while I'm out there, so stay tuned.

Lake Orion vs Eisenhower 2008

What an exciting game. Out of all the games I shot this season, this first playoff game has got to be the best. Tied at zero for most of the game, it was a nail biter all the way till the end of the 4th quarter.

The game started at 7pm on Halloween. I suspect this was the scene at many homes in Lake Orion.

Friday night Bokeh

I am going through a sea of photographs taken at last night's football game. Lake Orion beat Utica Eisenhower in the last few minutes of this shutout game. I will post more tomorrow, but here is one of my favorite non-action photos I took from the game.
