It's a Tree!

This tree was begging for me to photograph it.  Once the light was right and the scene was correct.

Christmas from a Child's Perspective

Downtown Disney Christmas

In took this shot a bit blind by placing the camera low to the ground on a mini tripod and aimed it towards the sky. This Christmas tree is in Downtown Disney at Anaheim California. The moon made the clouds bright enough to show up on a long exposure shot such as this one, and I think it gives an ominous affect.

Fall Colors

EJP-4793
Fall Colors

This week's photo challenge was the term "fall colors." I took about 700 pictures of fall colors this weekend, and most of them had people in them. I wanted to include this shot in the challenge because of my love for the blue sky as a back drop and I really liked how the yellow of the leaves contrasted with the blue sky. Take a look at Kevin's blog to see how he interpreted this photo challenge.

Scouting Location

Scouting Location

I was out scouting locations for a portrait session on Saturday and found this lonely park bench under this amazing tree. The colors at this time of the year are really amazing and I am seeing them this year with a whole new perspective.
