7 Iron

This weeks photo assignment with Kevin from Kevin's Photography was the number 7. This has been by far the most difficult photo assignment yet. I took many pictures of things representing the number 7, and I dislike every one of them. This one came to me while on the golf course at Oakhurst country club this weekend. I shot a high score that day, but many of my shots were straight and had some distance.

I really should play this sport more often. Golf is one of my favorite sports, and playing two times per year is just not enough. This weekend I had the great fortune of playing this beautiful course, and I must say it is a great golfing experience. You really must try it some time if you get the opportunity.

As I was driving out of the parking lot of Oakhurst Golf Club today these flowers were begging me to take their picture. I've been seeing these kinds of images all my life, and only the past year have been smart enough to carry my camera in my car so to take such lovely shots.
